Kyle David Kappel
CEO

Acclaimed as “a very impressive business man” by Donald Trump, Kyle Kappel’s career in the IT industry began at the ripe age of 14 landing a job as a staff consultant for a multi-million dollar Philadelphia-area consulting firm.  Before most people had their first job Mr. Kappel was working on clients from local financial firms, to Fortune 50 companies, to major Philadelphia-area hospitals.  For four years Mr. Kappel continued his tenure until starting his first internet venture.

An early adopter to the concept of affiliate marketing, Mr. Kappel built an internet shopping community named “OceanMall,” that offered customers a value added by searching for the best price among competitors, an unheard of concept in the mid-90s.  As business began to grow, so did the competition.  As Kappel’s company faced increasing pressure from highly leveraged, debt heavy competition, Kappel dissolved the company in 2000.  Unlike most internet ventures of the 1990s, OceanMall remained profitable even until its dissolution.

In late 2000, Kappel went back to consulting in his second venture OC3 Technologies.  OC3 focused on network design, systems development, and software engineering.  Using past business contacts to get a jump start, Kappel was able to make OC3 successful very quickly.  As the market continued to progress in the way of software and internet development, Kappel renamed the company in 2002 to The Kyle David Group.

The Kyle David Group continued to grow exponentially, with clients ranging from national brands to Fortune 50 companies and internet-startups.  In the heat of the internet boom, The Kyle David Group has set a standard in efficiency and productivity.  Since 2004, the company has doubled in size consecutively.  From independent evaluations of all clients acquired in Q1 2005, The Kyle David Group was rated a 4.9 on a 5.0 scale in the areas of: quality of output, response time, professionalism, expertise, cost, and ability to meet client deadlines. During Kappel’s tenure as CEO of The Kyle David Group, he has established himself as one of the top 10% of internet marketing experts.  Kappel has won power-attorney Robert Shapiro’s LegalZoom Entrepreneur Spotlight Award for outstanding business conduct and integrity.  He was also recognized as one of the top 20 business leaders under the age of 40 by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.  In 2006 Kappel was honored by becoming a finalist for candidacy on NBC’s hit reality show The Apprentice.

Kappel also serves as the chairman of Kyle David Worldwide, Inc. a self-founded venture capital firm targeting web-based software.  Recent acquisitions include the web-based community PressPray as well as the highly anticipated web-analytics application AirCheese.

While not working with computers, Kyle David Kappel founded a non-profit against sexual assault, received a B.A. from Muhlenberg College in three years, and was elected President of the Upper Bucks County chapter of LeTip for two terms. He resides in Allentown, PA and is an active Sunday School teacher for young adults as well as a volunteer on the pastoral care visitation staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
