Our Solution

One of Jaflo’s main issues was they lacked a system for replacing old hardware and software. They also needed a new phone system that would work seamlessly at multiple locations. To address these technology concerns, KDG immediately developed a plan for upgrading their systems and improving their IT management policies.

KDG conducted a comprehensive IT audit at each of Jaflo’s office locations and determined it was time for the company to migrate to cloud computing. To begin the process of moving Jaflo to the cloud, KDG migrated the company’s desktop users to Office 365, which gave every employee who used the Microsoft Office suite access to the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access at an affordable monthly cost.

To solve Jaflo’s issue with outdated computing systems, KDG refreshed old desktop and laptop hardware and put every machine on a hardware refresh cycle to make budgeting for IT costs more predictable and to decrease the amount of time spent resolving the technical problems associated with outdated systems.

KDG’s site audit also revealed an opportunity to improve Jaflo’s network security by strengthening password protocols, ensuring all Internet connections were secure, and installing or activating antivirus/malware protection on all PCs. In addition to making these changes to help Jaflo implement stronger security standards, KDG migrated their phone system to a multi-location VOIP system with RCN using their existing hardware.
